Want to give the famous “shuffle and deal” call?.

By RP, March 10, 2016

Well-known figures are usually invited to give the “shuffle and deal” call that starts the action at leading World Series of Poker live tournaments, but the organisers have come up with a praiseworthy idea of auctioning the call for this year’s WSOP Main Event, with the proceeds going to the One Drop charity.

It’s the latest promotion to boost funds to the charity, which delivers clean, safe water to needy communities around the world, and it is in addition to the now-famous charity competitions at WSOP which have raised millions of dollars in the past and will again be held this year.

WSOP marketers have put together a compelling package on the charity auction site CharityBuzz.com: There’s the privilege of making that “shuffle up and deal” call, along with a private tuition session with WSOP champion Frank Kassela, a tour of the WSOP television facilities and front-row railbird seats at WSOP.

The package also includes three-nights of accommodation at a leading Las Vegas hotel, and dinner for two at a top Vegas restaurant.

Bidding runs through to March 17, and has already reach $2,252.
