Celebrities Soulja Boy, De Anthoney Thomas and Kyle Massey have joined former WSOP main event champion Jamie Gold’s World Poker Fund Holdings as partners in the launch of its first celeb social casino website, titled CelebrityWorld.com.

The $3.4 billion global social casino market has been growing rapidly and is expected to exceed $4.4 billion by 2017, the partners say in a presser issued Monday.

CelebrityWorld.com will open its virtual doors on April 15th for beta gamers and has scheduled its grand opening on May 1st. The new social gaming experience will incorporate the most popular online casino games with the exciting action of playing side-by-side with celebrities, the statement pledges.

CelebrityWorld will offer casino games and entertainment that includes Poker, Video Poker, Slots, Sports Betting, Bingo, Fringo, and Solitaire against a backdrop that includes restaurants, night clubs, retail stores and private parties.

Players can choose a particular theme or online party room, or they can start their own party to attract others.

The site will operate in typical levelling up social gaming style, with players moving up floors in a hotel as they earn more virtual coins through the games, working their way up to celebrity status.

Many of the parties are held at a private suite but players can also use the club venues. Poolside parties, dance clubs, VIP lounges and even a love hotel will be available, along with retail shopping facilities.

As reported in previous bulletins, the marketing and PR for the new venture is being handled by New York’s 1-800-PublicRelations, Inc., which has an investment stake in the business.

1800pr president Matthew Bird promised in the press statement:

“WPFH is going to be a publicity machine, the company is weaponizing itself with marque celebrity horsepower, global social influencers and some of the smartest business development and marketing minds to ensure the successful launch and growth of the company.
