WSOP enters online shopping sector.

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has launched an online shopping destination in partnership with venture capital firm, MMAG Group Inc.

The e-commerce platform, which offers exclusive licensed WSOP merchandise and clothing at SHOP.WSOP.com, will also feature giveaways and experiences along with a poker blog, social media integration capabilities and a loyalty rewards programme.

Merchandise and apparel include custom poker sets, commemorative poker chips, small tech items, caps, hoodies, T-shirts, and more.

“We are pleased to announce the launch of this new platform and merchandise associated with it. World Series of Poker is an internationally recognized and respected brand and we look forward to building an e-commerce platform to match with the guidance of MMAG Inc.,” Ty Stewart, WSOP executive director, said.

In related news, David Pham and Frank Kassela are the latest WSOP gold bracelet winners.

David Pham claimed his third World Series of Poker gold bracelet, winning Event 12, the $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em.

The win marks Pham’s 47th WSOP cash, this for $391,960 after defeating Jordan Young heads-up.
