WSOP well underway – latest results.

Upeshka De Silva has outplayed a field of 369 to win his second World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet and a $229,923 paycheck.

De Silva, took down the 2017 WSOP’s Event #3, $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em Shootout, winning three straight shootout tables over the three-day event.

Referring to heads-up opponent, Louis Helm, De Silva said, “He played very well; he played a lot better than I anticipated.”

Event 3 saw three previous bracelet winners on the final table, De Silva, Jean Gaspard and Taylor Paur, who finished up first, ninth and tenth, respectively.

Event 4, the first Omaha bracelet event of the 2017 series, played out in the early hours of Sunday morning with Benjamin Zamani emerging victorious after battling Jared Hemingway in heads-up play.

Zamani claimed his second World Series of Poker career bracelet and a payday of $238,620.
