Former WSOP champ joins aced poker

02/09/2009

The Merge poker network skin Aced.com scored something of a coup last week, announcing that it had recruited former WSOP Main Event champion Jamie Gold to its promotional team.

Gold won poker's biggest game in 2006, claiming a controversy-riddled main prize of over $12 million (see previous InfoPowa reports)

Gold has made his mark on the Internet poker business in subsequent tournaments, and will be a positive draw for players and an influential indicator of Aced.com's rising status.
