FTOPS 12 schedule announced

One of Internet poker's premiere tournament series returns for its twelfth running on May 6th, with the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) guaranteeing more than $18 million in prize money over 25 professional player-hosted events.

FTOPS XII features six events with at least $1 million in guaranteed prize money, including the FTOPS XII Two-Day event, which guarantees $2 million, and the FTOPS XII Main Event, which offers a substantial $2.5 million guarantee.

This edition of FTOPS will see the debut of MiniFTOPS, a series of 25 events that feature similar tournament types and structures as FTOPS XII events but at a tenth of the buy-in. MiniFTOPS allows players of all skill levels and bankrolls to join the FTOPS action. Highlights will include the MiniFTOPS Two-Day Event, which guarantees $200 000, and the MiniFTOPS Main Event, which guarantees $500 000.

Players looking for a new test of their skills can take on Full Tilt Poker's FTOPS Challenges, where they must complete a series of in-games tasks to win special prizes. For instance, players who participate in the Zero to Hero FTOPS Challenge must turn $1 into a FTOPS event entry, and then cash in that event to earn a prize.
