The popularity and reward potential of the routine Sunday online poker tournaments was again illustrated last weekend by some serious winning payouts.

In the PokerStars Sunday Million 9 371 poker fans paid the buy-in of $215, generating a prize pool of $1 874 200. This cashed some 1 350 players, with winner tony6733 winning the main prize of $267 640, runner up Alex “He1en ke11er” Moore $196 791 and kvnok88 collecting a third place prize of $139 534.

The Sunday $750 000 guaranteed tourney at Full Tilt Poker.com had a buy-in of $216 and pulled in 4 006 pokerheads, generating a prizepool of $801 200. This enabled 585 players to cash, with BOOP BOOP NEB taking the main prize of $113 270 and second placed Sebago2811 taking home $104 217.
