Venue set for Venice poker tourney

Entrants for the World Poker Tour Venice live poker tournament - and there are expected to be many - will enjoy the beautiful setting of the Casino di Venetia on the banks of Venice's world famous Grand Canal when they're not battling it out on the felt.

WPT announced the venue for the tournment's main event, scheduled for May 10, in a statement this week. Buy-in for the big game will be Euro 4 400, which should generate a large prize pool and main prize for the winner, who will also receive a WPT bracelet and a $25 500 sponsored seat to the WPT World Championship in April 2010.
