The mother of all prop bets?
Poker forums like twoplustwo were buzzing this week as members discussed the latest monster prop bet between top poker pros.
Generating plenty of comment and speculation was a report that international poker aces Phil Ivey - well known for his penchant for prop bets - and Howard "The Professor" Lederer, had agreed on a two year prop bet worth $5 million that Ivey will win at least two more bracelets at the 2010-2011 World Series of Poker spectaculars....or not.Ivey has a good chance of acquiring another two bracelets, adding to his current collection of 7. He also has a good track record on this sort of speculative bet and was rumoured to have earned $10 million on side bets alone last year, over and above his total career earnings estimated at $12 815 787.
