Three new "mystery tournaments" introduced to FTOPS 8 have been the cause of some speculation recently, and Full Tilt has now confirmed that these will be:
* A May 8 No Limit Hold'em Triple Shootout with a maximum entry field of 729 and a guaranteed proze-pool of $300 000. Buy-in for this event (number 3 in the program) are $500+$35.
* Event 8 is the Heads-up No Limit Hold'em, restricted to 2 028 players who will pay a $500+$35 buy-in to compete for a guaranteed prize-pool of $250 000.
* The final "surprise" event is number 17, where a buy-in of $200+$16 gets a maximum of 1 296 players into the 6-handed No Limit Hold'em Quadruple Shootout with a guaranteed $200 000 prize-pool.
FTOPS 8 follows a well proven and successful path, with at least one event a day at the Full Tilt website through until May 18, and guaranteed prize-pools totalling $10 million for this major online poker tournament.
