Big tourneys and new games at pokerroom.com

Poker Room.com are pulling out all the stops this week with the announcement of a special 25th edition of the Grand Tournament and the launch of 23 new games on Casino Room.com.

To celebrate the 25th edition of the Grand Tournament, PokerRoom.com is pumping up the guarantee in May to $1 million. The Grand Tournaments are the largest tournaments held each month at Poker Room.com. Players can buy in for $1000+$40 or qualify for as little as $1+10 cents through daily qualifiers.

The special 25th edition of the Grand will require no extra buy-in and will be held May 30 - June 2 as a no-limit Texas Hold'em freeze out with starting stacks of $10 000 and blind increases every 30 minutes.

"We are excited to celebrate the 25th edition of the Grand with our players", said Hendrik Knopp, spokesperson for Poker Room.com. "An anniversary game is just one of the ways we continually offer players the challenges and prize pots they want."

At Casino Room.com the momentum has continued with the launch of 23 new online casino games. Spread throughout the categories of Card Games, Table Games, Slots and Video Poker, the new games inventory from the Ongame studios features Black Jack Pro, Viking's Treasure, Bonus Keno, Oasis Poker Pro, Triple Wins, Let it Ride Pro and Caribbean Stud.

Poker Room.com is one the veteran online gambling websites in the business and was founded in 1999, offering poker games such as Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Five Card Draw und Seven Card Stud, a broad selection of tournaments for these games, and a large poker community. Powered by parent company Ongame in Gibraltar, which is itself part of the Vienna-listed Bwin gambling group, Poker Room is an accredited "Fair and Safe" seal operation monitored continuously by the player protection and standards organisation eCOGRA.
