Hungarian player takes LAPT San Jose
The second tourney in this years recently introduced Latin American Poker Tour took place in San Jose, Costa Rica this week and was won by a 24 year old Hungarian player, Valdemar Kwaysser, following a heads up with Max Steinberg. The young Hungarian collected a $274 103 paycheck for his victory.
Kwaysser knocked out numerous opponents with some remarkable cards and not a little good fortune, something he acknowledged in telling reporters: "I know I had a really lucky period today. Steven [Silverman] trapped me. But that's poker. You sometimes play perfect and don't get the results. And sometimes it's different."The LAPT moves to Punta del Este in Uruguay for the third and final leg of the this year's first series.
