Club Bluff launched by media company

05/30/2008

The always innovative poker company Bluff Media launched a new venture this week in the shape of Club Bluff.com, a subscription based online poker room. Rival publisher CardPlayer magazine beat Bluff to the punch this time, launching its own subscription-based online poker room earlier this year

The concept gets around risk and uncomfortable and restrictive US legal concerns by allowing players to do their thing without depositing, instead paying a monthly subscription for access to the site and the ability to compete for prizes.

"We're thrilled to be able to give our loyal readers and poker fans across America the chance to join us at ClubBluff.com," said Eric Morris, co-president and publisher of Bluff Magazine. "We're proud of what Bluff Magazine has become over the past four years and have the same aspirations for ClubBluff.com."

Every month ClubBluff.com members can play in thousands of online poker and blackjack tournaments risk-free with no buy-ins, playing for over $100 000 in prizes, including cash. The membership will additionally be provided with access to tips from professional poker and blackjack players and digital access to Bluff Magazine content online.

Sponsored World Series of Poker Main Event seats are also up for grabs for the skilled and fortunate, together with WSOP-Circuit seats and World Poker Tour World Championship seats. Starting June 1, 2008 players can get into a nightly $1 000 and monthly $20 000 poker tournaments.

Club Bluff subscription rates are $19.95 a month for complete access to the tournaments, sit-n-goes and ring games. There are no additional costs and the first two weeks are free of charge, allowing poker players the opportunity to test the software and win cash prizes. Elimination blackjack tourneys are also available.
