Playtech iPoker to host charity event at WSOP

With the World Series of Poker now in full swing in las Vegas, Playtech's iPoker network has announced that it is to host a celebrity tournament where each star at the table will have a $13 000 bounty on his or her head.

Taking place during the WSOP main event, the tournament will feature some of the biggest names in poker, including Tony G, Neil Channing, Jamie Gold, Marty Smith, Scotty Nguyen & Montel Williams.

21 iPoker online players will qualify online to take on the pros and earn bounties by flying in to Las Vegas, and the winner of the tournament will pocket $20 000. The event will be held at Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas on July 9th.
