Internet poker ace wins another WSOP bracelet

The 40th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas is proving to be profitable for an expert Internet player in terms of both respect and hard cash prizes.

Brock 'Tsoprano' Parker has just won his second bracelet at this year's poker epic, beating Joe Serock in the heads up of Event 19 - the $2 500 buy-in No Limit Hold'em Six-Handed competition.

His win follows similar success against Daniel Negreanu in the Limit Hold "em six handed event earlier this week.

For his latest win, Parker had to survive an original entry field of 1 068 players, many of them global competitors of note, although only he and eventual heads up opponent Joe Serock entered the final table with more than a million in chips..

At the death it was Russell Crane going out in third place after a clash with Serock that led to the Parker vs. Serock decider, with both players holding big enough stacks to make a real game out of the occasion. The heads up was a lengthy affair but in the end Parker prevailed to collect his second bracelet and the main prize of $553 745.

Crane's third place was worth $220 633, and Serock collected a check for $341 783 as the runner-up.
