Pokerstars online poker players are currently competing in internet satellites designed to send winners to a new live tournament on the company?s schedule ? Bulgaria.

The giant internet poker provider has announced that it is once again expanding its global presence with a new tournament scheduled for September 2 ? 5 in the Eastern European country.

The inaugural PokerStars Balkan Poker Festival will be hosted by the 5 star Grand Hotel & Casino International at Golden Sands resort in Bulgaria, near Varna, a company spokesman said this week

The Euro 990 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em tournament is expected to draw a total of 200 players from across Europe, and in addition to the winner?s prize, the victorious player will also receive a useful Euro 5 300 buy-in to the EPT Prague tourney.
