Not the sharpest knife in the drawer

07/27/2010

Poker player Justin Grant proved this week that he is not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer, showing that he was good at escaping custody but not so hot at evading recapture.

The 21-year-old, who faced charges involving drugs, escaped from prison custody in north Queensland, Australia whilst receiving treatment at the Townsville Hospital on July 15, reports the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

However, he couldn't resist crowing about his prowess, allegedly taunted authorities by posting messages on the social networking site Facebook on a number of occasions and trying to set up a poker game with friends.

All of which enabled enforcement officials to zero in on his location and rearrest him within days of his escape.
