WPT legends taken by Friedman
In a tough six-man final table Prahlad Friedman proved he still has it in spades, starting third but finishing top this week in Los Angeles at the eigth edition of the WPT Legends of Poker.
This is how the tourney ended:1st : Prahlad Friedman - $1,009,000
2nd: Kevin Schaffel - $471,670
3rd: Todd Terry - $231,300
4th: Toto Leonidas - $144,600
5th: Sam Stein - $116,225

It was a triumphant return to big money live games by Friedman, who has been playing on the Internet after doing well in the 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event and running deep in this year's WSOP main event.
After taking out most of the final table, Friedman eventually faced Kevin Schaffel in the 127 hands-long heads up. Schaffel has already earned his place at this year's WSOP final table, which will take place in November, and he had started the Legends final table in the chip lead. Schaffel earned $471 670 for his spirited opposition.
