Betbrokes breaking into online poker?
Britain's traditional bonfire and fireworks night - November 5 - will also see the launch at Canary Wharf in London of Betbrokers plc's new online poker offering, which remained shrouded in mystery as we went to press.
According to an open invitation on the corporate website, Betbrokers will be launching its own poker offering with a celebrity tournament involving the firm's sporting ambassadors Phil Tufnell, Nasser Hussein and John Virgo.
Without identifying the poker software, CEO Wayne Lochner said ''This is the first of a number of new additional services which Betbrokers are launching as part of their one stop/one account strategy for clients to enjoy all their sport wagering and gambling activities through one account.''
