Blackberry hold´em launches
Mobile games developer Hands On Mobile, and Blackberry's BPlay have at last launched the eagerly anticipated World Poker Tour (WPT) Texas Hold'em game on Blackberry personal devices.
Players can buy the game by visiting bplay.com from their mobile phones, selecting Top 10, followed by WPT Texas Hold'em for a one off cost of $8.95 for unlimited usage (plus relevant carrier messaging charges).
"WPT is the number one brand in poker and we're thrilled to deliver this leading title to our BlackBerry users who are embracing entertainment as an integral part of the mobile experience," said Nicholas Reichenbach, Senior Vice President of BPlay.
BPlay, WPT and Hands-On Mobile will be hosting a poker tournament on May 9th at the world's largest BlackBerry conference WES (Wireless Enterprise Symposium) in Orlando, Florida. This unique VIP tournament will give one lucky player a seat at the Season VI WPT Invitational in Los Angeles, California, an invite-only tournament were they can mingle with Hollywood celebrities and poker's top pros.
