Dortmund EPT action starts
Germany's "green city" Dortmund is the venue for the next European Poker Tour event which starts in the city today (Friday)
The organisers report that the Euro 5 000 buy-in tournament has been fully sold out for the past two weeks, generating a prizepool of Euro 2.35 million which ensures that the top player in the 500 poker enthusiast starting field will pick up a paycheck worth a hefty Euro 681 600.
The event is being held at Casino Hohensburg with the No-Limit Texas Hold'em action promising plenty of excitement as players who have bought-in, and many who have qualified online through sponsorship satellites, get down to business in the four day competition.
