First Virgin Poker Festival launched
The online poker element on the Virgin Games site has big Internet and land crossover plans for 24 to 25 November this year, when the first Virgin Poker Festival will be held in the British city of Birmingham at the Broadway Casino.
The event will feature live poker tournaments with the added entertainment of Virgin bounties, value added side events and a whole host of fun and games. And the good news for British players is that the main event has a relatively low buy-in of GBP105 for the deep-stack tournament with up to 250 players. Qualification for the tournament will include a number of freerolls taking place this week, as well as satellite tournaments.
A Virgin spokesman said: "We want to have some fun and we want you to join us." Bounties will include cases of Virgin wine, Virgin Vouchers, Virgin Experience Days + V Points.
To give lower stakes players the chance to experience big tournament poker Virgin Poker are running a 2 day deep stacked event with a GBP105 buy-in and GBNP 5 000 added to the prize pool.
