Party Gaming to invest $5 million a month in online poker tournaments

Online poker players, hold on to your hats! From Monday 2nd April, Party Poker.com will be holding tournaments that guarantee over $5 million a month in prixe money! And on top of this there is over $50 000 in freerolls scheduled every month and hundreds of thousands of dollars up for grabs from the Bad Beat Jackpot.

The main thrust for the $5 million investment is the $300 000 Guaranteed tournament series every Sunday that is attracting steadily increasing numbers of players every week, with online qualifiers starting from as little as $3.

The popularity of the tournament has risen so sharply in recent months that four new qualifiers have been added on a Saturday and Sunday.

Amongst the many tournaments that will see an increase in their guarantee from today (Monday 2nd April) include the $40 000 Guaranteed event every Saturday that will deliver $50 000. Other events that have been topped-up include the daily $10 000 Guaranteed (rebuy), which rises to $13 000, and the daily $18 000 Guaranteed, which increases to $20 000.
