World Poker Tour
The World Poker Tour (WPT), often referred to as "Destination
Bellagio" is one of the biggest tournaments around. The WPT
is a weekly televised series of thirteen poker tournaments, leading
up to the grand finale. Taking part in this tour is very simple.
You only need to bring the buy in amount and you can compete against
the best. If you do not have the funds available for the buy in,
you can take part in one of the many satellite tournaments available.
These tournaments give you the oppertunity to win an entry into
the WPT with a much smaller buy in. The cheapest way for you to get into the WPT would be to take part in one of the satellites offered by the online poker rooms listed below and maybe win yourself an entry. This will give you some poker experience and practice for a very small entry fee and who know? You may wind up winning big!
On the right, you will see links to more information about the WPT, including the schedule, satellites, rules and results.
WPT Satellites

In addition to the "normal" buy-in method of entering this onland tournament you can also get your chance for a seat by winning tournaments or satellites that take place at online poker rooms...
