World Series of Poker
The
World Series of Poker is the biggest and highest paying poker tournament
around. It takes place every year where the best of the best come
together and play for the main pot in a "winner takes all"
event. In 2003 it was a staggering $2,5 Million and is expected
to go over the $3 Million mark in 2004. The buy in is $10,000 if
you go straight to the tournament and enter. There are also satellites
that you can play in to qualify for the event or you could play
in one of the many online poker rooms, where they offer various
tournaments in which you could win a seat to the WSOP.
Most of the online poker rooms offer you a massive package that goes along with the prize, like; Return airfare to and from Las Vegas, the buy-in to the main event, $500 spending money and hotel accommodation. So, this would be like a holiday package as well. A really good reason to try your luck at one of these rooms. For more info on the WSOP, use the navigation on the right.
WSOP Satellites
In addition to the "normal" buy-in method of entering
this onland tournament you can also get your chance for a
