World Series of Poker is a true World Championship, where players frome around the globe take part. Best of all, players don't need a big reputation or a winning team behind them to participate. Anyone over 21 years of age can enter and compete.

The winner get the recognition of being a world champ and will be enshrined on the Horseshoe's Gallery of Champions, joining such titans of the game as Johnny Moss, Johnny Chan, Puggy Pearson, Stu Ungar, Sailor Roberts, Doyle Brunson and Bobby Baldwin.

The World series of Poker is televised nationally and shown internationally, with press coverage at its maximum.

So, what are the rules of the World Series of Poker and how do you get to take part in the tournament?

Well, there are three different ways.

1. You go to the Horseshoe and register yourslef and lay down $10000 for your buy in.

2. Take part in the World Series of Poker satellite tournaments

or

3. Take part in various online tournaments and play to win. Winning one of these tournaments, you will receive: Airfare, Hotel reservations, the buy in for the WSOP tournament and sometime even some spending money for the trip.
