Mobile games developer Hands On Mobile has chosen multimedia company 3UK as its partner in the British launch of World Poker Tour’s multiplayer mobile game “WPT Texas Hold ‘Em 2”
The game’s UK launch signifies the first time a free play, multiplayer WPT game will be accessible to European poker buffs.
This is the second game in the popular WPT Texas Hold’Em series, which claims an impressive 200 000 multiplayer hands each week in the US and gives poker players the opportunity to play in real-time against up to five other people from around the world.
“Poker is a real community game and now, with World Poker Tour Texas Hold ‘Em 2, that community will be able to play and interact with each other no matter where they are in the world,’ said Eric Hobson, President and General Manager EMEA, Hands-On Mobile.
The new game will be available on the 3UK network for a subscription of just under GBP2 a month.
