Is Full Tilt Poker rising from the ashes.

By RP, April 17, 2012

In Ireland, a new company branded New Full Tilt Limited has been registered with starting capital of Euro 1 million furnished by Groupe Bernard Tapie, the putative French acquirers of the scandal-ridden Full Tilt Poker empire.

The GBT founder’s son Laurent and International Stadiums Poker Tour director Prosper Jer?my Masquelier are listed as sole directors of the new company.

New Full Tilt Limited was originally incorporated on February 14, 2012, with Tapie and Masquelier appointed in March.

The company is described as a ?software consultancy and supply? firm with a Dublin address.

The appearance of the new company follows reports that Tapie has been trying to persuade the Alderney authorities to reinstate FTP’s revoked licence; that the company is again hiring staff in Ireland; that there are rumours of a company bearing the FTP title applying for licensing in Malta; and that the hitherto dormant FTP operational website has been the subject of what appears to be player-based software testing (see previous reports).
