Timing the announcement to coincide with the closing moments this week of the 2014 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, the organisers announced that next year’s rotational change to Europe will see Berlin hosting the tournament.
A WSOP tweet advised:
“Seems like a good time to tell you: 2015 WSOP Europe will be in Berlin, Germany! hier kommen wir Oct, 2015.”
WSOP tournaments outside the USA now rotate between Europe and Asia on an alternate year basis, and next year it will be Europe – and specifically Berlin’s – turn.
The actual venue has yet to be revealed.
