American poker pro Ari Engel bested a 732-strong field to win the Aussie Millions AU$10,600 no-limit hold’em main event over the weekend.
Entering the final table with a huge advantage over his competitors in terms of chips, Engel ultimately took the title after defeating Tony Dunst in heads-up play, earning AU$1.6 million for his trouble, his biggest career cash to date.
