O’Dwyer takes Pokerstars Championship Macau High Roller.

Described as a clash of the Titans, 34-year-old Steve O’Dwyer has taken down the 2017 PokerStars Championship Macau Super High Roller for $1,099,908.

O’Dwyer outplayed a field of 88, comprising sixty-four unique players plus 24 re-entries. At HK$400,000 buy-in, the total prize pool was HK$33,802,560.

Ultimately facing Fedor Holz heads up, the two negotiated a deal in which O’Dwyer, with a significant chip lead, agreed HK$ 8,160,830 and Holz HK$ 6,749,170, leaving the title and HK$300,000 to play for.
