PartyPoker has announced a 5-year main sponsorship deal for the Eurasian Poker Tour with organisers Poker Club Management, with the first event slated as the Euro 1 million guaranteed Party Poker Eurasian Poker Tour Montenegro on June 16-25 this year at the Merit Royal Casino in the coastal resort of Budva.
The EAPT gives Party an opportunity to push into Eastern European markets that include the Commonwealth of Independent States with a series of $500,000 guaranteed tourneys, each leg culminating in a Euro 1 million guaranteed main event.
Party Poker and Poker Club Management have worked together before, most recently on the successful PartyPoker Million Sochi, which attracted an entry field of 1,170 and generated a prize pool in excess of the guarantee at Euro 1.13 million (see previous InfoPowa reports).
