Sportingbet’s online poker celebrity “face”, model Caprice hosted over a hundred hard-headed members of London’s financial community including top fund managers, bankers and brokers this week in a Paradise Poker tourney played at London’s trendy Gutshot Poker Club.
The top four finishers from the event now go forward to a Paradise Grand Final where they could win at seat at next year’s World Series of Poker in Las Vegas worth $10,000.
The event was arranged by Paradise Poker parent company Sportingbet plc, one of the UK’s leading online betting and gaming groups, and city investment and banking firm Investec. Sportingbet acquired Paradise Poker for GBP 190 million in November 2004.
