Inspired by the famous grand slam tournaments in tennis and golf, VC Poker.com has announced the launch of its own online poker grand slam tournaments which will be worth $10 million to the winner.

The VC Grand Slam series offers a total prize package in excess of $20 million and comprises four online tournaments at VC Poker.com, taking place over consecutive weekends in December, with each boasting prize funds from $50 000 to $100 000. Players finishing on the final table in more than one tournament will be eligible for bonuses of up to $5 million, whilst the $10 million prize has been reserved for the player who wins all four tournaments.

A spokesperson for Victor Chandler said, “Until now, the world’s best online poker players have had to compete in land-based tournaments to win a prize of this magnitude. VC Poker.com is proud to introduce an event that not only offers online poker’s richest prize to date, but also introduces a unique competition to find the world’s best player in their preferred online setting.”

Grand Slam qualifying tournaments have already begun and will continue throughout November until the first grand slam tournament on December 3.

Victor Chandler is also offering sponsorship opportunities to players showing consistency in their play, providing them with the chance to become a professional poker player and win up to $250 000.
