The final table of eight players has been decided in the PokerStars European Poker Tour High-Roller Event, with French Canadian pro and WSOPE bracelet winner Erik Cajelais holding the chip lead having bagged 893 000 in chips overnight.

At stake is the GBP 542 000 main prize generated by the substantial buy-in of GBP 20 000 levied on each of the 75 original players (see previous reports).
Second day play ended relatively early in the evening as the 31 survivors were whittled down to the final 8 players.
