Devilfish Gaming plc, the UK based online poker company started by poker ace Dave Ulliott, has announced the acquisition of the player base of Hungarian-based Paramin Poker.com, a company on the Entraction online poker network.
Owned by Poker Akademia, the Paramin site has migrated its players to DevilfishPoker.com and the two companies have entered into an affiliate agreement.
A Devilfish spokesman said that Hungary is one of the fastest growing poker markets and Eastern European countries have recently seen a rapid expansion in the popularity of the game.

This acquisition adds a significant number of players to Devilfishpoker.com and we have also entered a new affiliate agreement with Poker Akademia, which will be mutually beneficial to both companies. “
