Germany’s “green city” Dortmund is the venue for the next European Poker Tour event which starts in the city today (Friday)
The organisers report that the Euro 5 000 buy-in tournament has been fully sold out for the past two weeks, generating a prizepool of Euro 2.35 million which ensures that the top player in the 500 poker enthusiast starting field will pick up a paycheck worth a hefty Euro 681 600.
The event is being held at Casino Hohensburg with the No-Limit Texas Hold’em action promising plenty of excitement as players who have bought-in, and many who have qualified online through sponsorship satellites, get down to business in the four day competition.
