Fast Freddie claims new online poker high hand record.

PRLEAP.com reports that two bold poker players using the handles Fast_Freddie and bad_ip set a new record for the largest hand in a cash game last week whilst playing a heads up game of Texas Holdem on the Microgaming Poker Network. According to PRLEAP, this was the biggest cash game in the history of online poker and the largest hand yet recorded.

A hand that was valued at over $465 000 was won by Fast_Freddie when he flopped 3 aces. This is claimed to be the largest hand ever played in online poker during a regular cash game. The buy-in to get into the game was strictly high-roller at $40 000 and both players re-bought several times to accumulate such a high table value.

During the 8 -12 hour game of high stakes Internet poker the fortunes of both players fluctuated. At one time bad_ip had Fast_Freddie down to his last buy-in, but Freddie staged a late night comeback to end up with over $750 000 at his side while bad_ip could only muster $80 000.

Posts at the popular online poker portal 2+2 speculated that Fast_Freddie is the famous poker pro Freddie Deebs, while bad_ip is a another very competent player called Johnny Lodden. However this is unconfirmed surmising among the many poker heads who followed this match with deep interest.

One other player, using the intriguing handle “durrrr” put up his $40 000 over the course of the night but is reported to have lost most of it within 10 minutes of play – an expensive joust with Lady Luck and two other skilled players.
