The High Stakes Data Base’s latest report on internet nosebleed stakes poker action records that young gun Cort “thecortster” Kibler-Melby has enjoyed a profitable week, emerging from the online high stakes poker melee up $619,000 – much of it taken off Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, with $100,000 won in one memorable 40 minute clash.

The Cortster’s wins came from a $479,805 profit on Full Tilt, and a $139,411 profit at PokerStars.

Blom had an up and down week – taking “DoorBread” for $500,000 in a single session, but losing $500,000 over the week to Kibler-Melby.

Blom was back at the weekend, hitting Seb “talktloss” Ruthenberg for a couple hundred thousand, and the unfortunate DoorBread for another half-million…only to lose it as recounted above to Kibler-Melby.

Overall, Blom ended the week with $230,360 in profit at Full Tilt, and neutral at PokerStars.
