The first issue of Poker Pro Europe magazine was on the shelves at over 8000 retail outlets, bookstores, airports, casinos, card rooms and newsstands throughout English-speaking Europe this week. The new publication is backed by a rich media website in both .com and .co.uk domains launched on August 24.

The 100-page glossy will be published monthly and is available at all major casinos, cardrooms and other retail outlets. Total circulation will begin at 50 000+ copies monthly and is expected to rapidly grow as an aggressive TV-based subscription and branding campaign is launched on the Sky Network to coincide with the first issue.

Targeting poker aficionados of all ages, Poker Pro Europe provides a diverse offering of features and columns ranging from tutorials, strategy and instruction from the game’s best players to poker-related news and lifestyles and in-depth coverage of the game’s biggest tournaments and top practitioners.

“Poker Pro Europe will be focused on the European poker scene unlike most of our competitors who only report on poker events in the United States with very little global or European content,” stated Dan Jacobs, Poker Pro Europe’s Publisher.

Says editor-in-chief John Wenzel, “We plan to follow the same successful formula that has worked so well for sister publication Poker Pro, but with an intense focus on the European game. The magazine will be fun to read and be packed with serious articles that will make readers money on the tables.”
