Poker site departs Equity Poker Network.

The Equity Poker Network has announced the immediate departure of 5Dimes Group online poker sites in what it claims is an amicable severance.

When we went to press Friday, 5Dimes had not commented, and it not known which network it will be using in the future.

The two businesses part ways just days before EPN’s first birthday on November 13.

EPN put a positive spin on the exit, suggesting that the network had matured, and “…the time is right for 5Dimes to move on, and both parties have mutually agreed to go their separate ways.

“We bid farewell to 5Dimes on good terms, and we wish them continued growth for the future.”

5Dimes Group sites include 5Dimes.eu, Sportbet.com, IslandCasino.com, and Vietbet.eu.

Six weeks ago there were reports of collusion and chip dumping involving four 5Dimes players and a “very large sum of money”. The 5Dimes management brought the allegations to EPN’s attention and an investigation ensued – the second such enquiry in the network’s history.

The investigation confirmed wrongdoing between a 5Dimes player and three new Full Flush Poker player accounts, which had registered on September 18.

Following further investigation and detailed analysis, the EPN security specialists found the necessary evidence to confirm the allegations and permanently disabled all four fraudulent accounts, confiscating the money from the three flagged FFP accounts. The reclaimed funds were returned to the 5Dimes Group.
