The British poker television channel Pokerzone has launched its new look website, which a spokesman said has taken over six months to redesign, with the goal of inspiring current players, while attracting new users and players into the game.
The site has an original and creative layout and will display new content on an ongoing basis. Other key aspects of the website include a forum for all users inviting them to contact the presenters, join in poker discussions and share tips and suggestions with other poker enthusiasts. The site has an interactive component and has been designed to create a community within the poker world, informing and assisting players to better their game.
Pokerzone.tv also gives users access to ‘Pokerzone on Demand’ (POD), a completely free broadband TV service offering users the opportunity to view Pokerzone’s programmes around the clock at a touch of a button, as well as ‘Poker Night Live’, Pokerzone’s flagship programme. Poker Night Live content is available through Sky Channel 843 and POD, allowing viewers to play on the TV poker tables and have their games analysed by Pokerzone’s panel of experts while also giving them insider tips and strategies to help improve their game.
The new website includes a poker school which offers video tutorials, poker rule analysis and a comprehensive glossary of poker terms for beginners. The viewer’s lounge offers notices and promotions, the opportunity to meet the presenters as well as shop online. Every month the site will also feature an interview with an inspirational poker celebrity. This month’s interview is with Roland de Wolfe, one of Britain’s finest poker players.
